iPhone Fever

It's great to see Apple's success in hyping up the iPhone in the US, though it all falls a bit flat over here in Europe where it won't be available for a while. The interface looks impressive and the touchscreen and design make it about as sexy as a phone could get. The keyboard seems lees than ideal and shame about the battery but that hasn't stopped them selling all those ipods.

But I can't imagine holding the thing to my head too much without making it greasy and dirty. I think everyone looks at their mobile or landline now and then and goes 'eewww'. It can only get worse with the whopping big screen. Someone in China had better be gearing up to produce iPhone wipes right now...

And if anyone is wondering about how the summer is going up here, best not to ask, it seems to have been lost in transit. Bring on a scorching August.
